During this time, he was deeply involved in the design and manufacture of power supply units, troubleshooting complex electrical systems and optimizing energy efficiency. His work included circuit design, system integration, and ensuring long-term product reliability, core competencies that continue to shape his leadership approach today. This hands-on engineering experience gave Jim more than technical knowledge. It instilled a systems-level mindset. In 2004, Jim immigrated to the United States with his wife and two children, motivated by both opportunity and a clear vision for the future. Before launching his own company, Jim served as Vice President of an international power supply company for six years. In this role, he gained valuable executive experience by overseeing operations, contributing to strategic growth, and deepening his understanding of global energy markets. This period helped bridge the gap between engineering and leadership, preparing him to take the next step in his career. In 2010, Jim founded PowerStore as a small, family-run business focused on distributing solar and wind products. What started as a modest operation quickly gained traction thanks to Jim’s technical abilities and industry knowledge, along with his commitment to doing things the right way.
