Modular LiFePO4 Storage That Grows With You
Battery-Box towers stack identical modules with a patented plug connection and no internal wiring, so capacity grows in steps instead of full replacements. Every model is cobalt free lithium iron phosphate with at least 95 percent round trip efficiency.
- HVS and HVM high voltage towers from 5.12 to 22.1kWh, up to 3 towers in parallel
- US spec HVL towers grow from 12 to 32kWh in 4kWh steps, up to 96kWh per system

Which inverters work with BYD Battery-Box?
Battery-Box is DC coupled and must pair with an inverter on BYD's approved list. In the US that means select SMA, Solis, and GoodWe hybrids. Using an unlisted inverter voids the warranty.
How long is the BYD battery warranty?
BYD warrants 10 years against defects and guarantees 70 percent of usable energy at year 10, or until the model's rated energy throughput is reached, whichever comes first.
Can I expand a Battery-Box system later?
Yes. Towers stack identical modules, so a US HVL system grows from 12 to 32kWh in 4kWh steps and runs up to three towers in parallel. Modules added later carry their own warranty.
