Yes. Add an external transfer switch for whole home backup, up to 9kW with one six module cabinet or 11kW with two cabinets. PWRmanager automatically sheds lower priority circuits to extend battery runtime.
How much battery storage can PWRcell hold?
Each PWRcell Battery Cabinet holds three to six modules, delivering 9 to 18kWh of usable storage. Connect two cabinets to a single inverter for up to 36kWh, and existing cabinets accept additional modules anytime.
How long is the PWRcell warranty?
Generac backs the PWRcell inverter, battery cabinet, and PWRmanager for 10 years. Battery modules carry a 10 year or 7.56MWh warranty with 70 percent capacity retention. PV Link and SnapRS get 25 years.
